There was a soft valve tip issue about 1-2 years ago ... and it was widely known. No fault of AFR's IMHO ... any company can get a batch of bad parts ... and they took care of their customers who got the bad batch.
With only 1,200 miles on these heads and the new Patriot golds, $2,000 is a good and fair price for these milled. I wouldn't drop the price if I were the OP ... my .02 cents. Good luck selling the heads.
