LSX 427ci shortblock. Extreme application
I'm selling my 427ci LSX shortblock. Everything brand new, never been used.
GMPP LSX block, bored/honed to 4.125 with 6-bolt BHJ torque plate
- CP boost specific pistons. 25cc dish 1.2mm PVD coated stainless top ring, 1.2mm ductile 2nd ring, 3mm oil ring
- 1/2" ARP head studs 3/8" outer studs (included)
- 1/2" and 7/16 ARP main studs
- main caps are keyed
- Oliver rods
- Callies Dragonslayer crankshaft
- coated main and rod bearings
- Block was align honed
- Durabond cam bearings
- block decked for straightness
- balanced
- cometic MLS gaskets, 6-bolt with 1/2 and 3/8 holes to match fasteners
Due to the piston design and size of the wristpins a crankshaft mounted reluctor wheel will not fit inside this engine. An external crank trigger must be used.
Price is $10,050
EDIT- new price $9,500
EDIT- new price again $8,500

This engine was originally intended to go in my 96 Camaro with twin 76's and BS3.
Since I've sold that car and decided to turbo my Z06 I need an engine that will accept a stock reluctor wheel as I want to retain stock engine management with that car.
