I have a rear for a 96 Camaro Z28. I bought it to put it in my 2001 Z28, but now have to sell the car. The rear has never been used...only bolted in. It is shortened appoximately 2 inches. It has 4.10 gears. Very nice. Call if you are interested. Asking 1500. Brand new.

Are you willing to ship? Did you buy the whole thing from strange? the whole thing is brand new?

 

If its shortened 2" on each side then you'd need a 5 1/2" backspace.

 

Is this a Strange/Eaton HD Posi and 33 spline axles?

 

I bought the rear end used...but it has never been used. The guy I bought it from totaled his car before he put it in. I bought it over 2 years ago and have been out to see the entire time. I don't remember if it has ABS or not. I know it is shortened 2 5/8 in on both sides. I don't remember anything else about it. It is a great rear. I haven't replied because a guy said he was going to buy it and then changed his mind because he said 400 dollars was too much to ship it. The price is now 1000 plus shipping, because I have to get rid of it. It has been garage kept the entire time. Please call me if you are still interested.
