Default Fs:(new)thunder Racing Custom Cam

Bought this 2 years back and Never used, still in shipping box!

99-TR224/227-114 Thunder Racing Custom Camshaft
"Split Pattern" - 224/227 .563/.569 114 LSA For nitrous and supercharger applications. This cam will check in the 226 range on the exhaust lobe. 2200-6800 RPM Power Band. Excellent mid-range & high RPM power. Automatic cars require computer tuning and it is recommend for optimum results on manual transmission cars. Due to the fast ramp rate of this camshaft, the use of 1.8 rockers is not recommended. I PAID $389.99 plus shipping.

This is the exact specs as listed at website with price...I will NOT be going this route now so it can be someone elses gain.

With shipping and handling included I'll take $230.00for it!

Depends on a number of things, including the size of your engine (which is one of the biggest factors), your idle speed, & the tune. I'd say that it's roughly a "middle of the road" cam, you'd most likely hear a bit of a chop to the idle (unless you set the idle fairly high), but it's not big enough that you'd have to worry about spending weeks getting the tune right, nor would you have to be concerned about needing to replace valvesprings every year or so...

No cam should be put in with stock springs UNLESS it's a Z06 cam and you use stock Z06 springs.
