Custom Camshaft Spec Card

Part Number: AZPS-03-HR11 +2* Customer: AZ Power & Sound

Intake Exhaust
Valve Adjustment: .000” .000”
Lobe Lift: .365” .362”
Gross Valve Lift 1.70 Ratio: .621” .615”

Duration @ .050” Tappet Lift: 242* 248*

Specs at 109 Degree Intake Centerline:
Valve Timing at Open Close
.050” Tappet Lift: Intake: 12* BTDC 50* ABDC
Exhaust: 57* BBDC 11 ATDC

Degree this camshaft using these specs, not intake centerline method. The asymmetrical design of these lobes may not allow for accurate reading using the centerline method.

This camshaft is designed for high RPM, high horsepower applications.

CHECK rocker arm geometry and lifter preload.
This is imperative for optimum performance of this camshaft.

The power band is “roughly” between 2400 to 6700 rpm for 402-410 cubic inches.
The power band is “roughly” between 2600 to 6900 rpm for 370-383 cubic inches.
The power band is “roughly” between 3100 to 7400 rpm for 346-355 cubic inches.
Gear the vehicle accordingly.

The preferred spring pressure is 145# -150# on the seat.
Use only quality single or dual valve-springs with high performance locks and retainers.
Do not use factory OEM “beehive” style springs.

It is highly recommended to use high flow, ported cylinder heads.
High compression required for best performance.
Intake/Exhaust ratio should be 70% or better.
Headers and free flowing exhaust mandatory!

It is MANDATORY to verify piston to valve clearance.
