New LS7 427 take out motor w/ dry sump system..6 Miles!!
LEverything has been sold
The beautiful LS7 was removed from my 2008 JSB Z06 by LG motorsports after the car was delivered to them with just 6 miles on the clock! Exhaust ports and intake ports were taped off along with all oil outputs on the pan.
This LS7 Includes everything from the air filter and MAF to the oil pan. This is like buying a crate motor and getting the following items ( NOT included with crate motors from GM) for free!...
LS7 engine cover...12574619 $35.56
LS7 engine cover...12574620 $56.57
LS7 Oil tank ........12603281 $829.99
LS7 Oil line...........15210117 $95.76
LS7 Oil Line..........15210122 $101.14
LS7 air box assembly with Mass Air Flow sensor.....GM $$$??? I've seen well used at $100..this one has 6 miles!
The factory drysump system is complete and included with the motor.
Items this motor come with include...
complete intake
injectors
coil packs
plug wires/plugs
LS7 clutch and flywheel
crank/cam sensors
Items you will need to purchase and are NOT included ...
1) Throttle body ( included in the GM EFI package)
2) water pump ( $119 on E-bay ) or included in GM accessory package
3) stock manifolds ; most will install aftermarket headers anyhow.
Just unbolt your stock accessories form your existing corvette LS2/3 motor and its ready to install in a C6 vette.... OR you can purchase an entire LS7 corvette accessory kit from GM (Part#19155067) for $944.72 for a non Y-body install.
Add one of GM's stand alone EFI systems or any aftermarket system and you are off and running.
Availble for local pick-up in Wylie, Tx. at LG or they have been nice enough to offer to package and ship them. Crate and ship will range $250-$600 depending on your location. I accept Pay-pal payments ( deposit only OR pay in full + 3%)
I have a ton of pics available too...
$11,500

looks like the motor will be making it into a bad *** high dollar 68 pro touring F-body, sale pending. Thinking about keeping it for my 57 Nomad project and selling the Lingenfelter LT-5 I have for it. we'll see.
Hell, I 'd be happy driving anything right about now...other than my bicycle.
Local buyer wanted my CTS-V more than me so it went down the road...

No $$$ Yet ??
Two similiar (but not 100% identical) very low mileage LS7's have been sold on this board in the last month.
PLSThe Fett offered a 2007 (less than 1000 miles) w/dry sump (inc. lines and oil tank) but less intake, t-body and rocker arms for $7500. No takers; then went on E-bay at $ 6K (no reserve). Again, no bidders. Boardmember bought for unknown sum.
Exotic Performance Plus (EPP) offfered a 2008 (less than 550 miles) w/o dry sump "stuff". That is, pan, oil pump, front cover, tanks & oil lines for $ 9000 (OBO). This engine did come with a complete LS7 clutch & flywheel. Otherwise, it was basically the crate engine less dry sump stuff. Set of wet sump replacement parts run around $450 delivered (new GM). Know this engine sold for much closer to $ 8K delivered than the original $9K asking price.
Not trying to "rain on your parade"; not trying to "tell you what to do" -- just trying to provide a little insight into why you might be getting "tire kickers" in lieu of buyers.
In any event, best of luck with your sale!

hey,
thanks for the bump and the "insight" . I too have followed the sale of the engines from many different sources. I'm Not really concerned if it sells or not. I've got 2 projects it would drop right into so I have no plans to give it away anytine soon.
If somone is looking for fire sale..this is NOT the engine package for you.
Both of the above mentioned engines were NOT new. Unknown break-in procedures +/or treatment, unknown reason for removal, etc...
With this motor I've outlined its exact history.... all 6 miles of it! The new owner can break it in as he/she sees fit and know EXACTLY what the history is. Minus the additional parts included with the engine, thats cheap piece of mind for $1500 more than "other sales" in my book all day long.

Then I sold everything ( but the car) and went to an intense grad school for 4 years took on $750,000 in debt ( student loans, buisness purchase etc..) worked my *** off for the last 3 years..
Then I sold my 94 B4C and CTS-V to by the C6Z and I've been riding my road bike to work ever since until the car is done ( for 4 weeks and another 2 by the way it looks). I still put my pants on one leg at a time. when its all said and done I'll have less $$$ into it than a new 3LZ ( loaded) C6Z.
