Default Just have a ? on a mod (FTRA - LT1)

I'm wondering if anyone has tried to put a FTRA (Fast Toys Ram Air) on a 96/97 WS6 Ram Air car ? I was thinking about trying one of these to see if it can be inserted in the bottom of my factory air box (WS6) or would I have to change over to something like a LS1 lid and use a clear cover. I was remembering on my old 5.0 LX Mustang I had a Kenne Bell Ram Air kit that had a ram air mouth on the passenger bottom side and it seemed to work really well on the car. Just wondering if something like the FTRA would work much better than my factory Ram Air. Many people have suggested that a good cold air kit works better than the factory WS6 LT1 ram air ? Let me know your opinions.

The FTRA won't work on a LT1 WS6. They take the air in different ways. LS1 takes from under which is why they need a lid, LT takes a straight shot so air coming from under won't do any good.

That's why I also mentioned using a LS1 style airbox with a clear lid in place of my Ram Air setup.
