I hope you guys like it.
I would hate that fuel pump after a mile of driving though.
E cutouts would be the ticket in your case man
EDIT: once you get the 60 down you are going to have some killer ET to go with that awesome MPH

think.. lol
whats ur raceweight? u still have front and rear bumper supports? A few years ago, after reinstalling the 12 bolt on my back in late fall in the rain, I decided that since my car habit was not going to change I should at least have a dry place to work.
LS1 SPEED: Thanks for the compliments. I only pull the exhaust off for the track, mainly because it's not loud enough to get noticed in the staging lanes, or I get drowned out by some guy with open headers. I also like the weight savings from not having to carry around the exhaust system. Ironically I don't like very loud cars, so I make up for it with the original SLP 2OTL. The cobra guys don't know what to think when I am out and about.
AChotrod: I am a decent mechanic, but I am trying to make my mark as an EFI tuner. I have a decent portfolio of cars I have worked on, and I have a good range of EFI systems under my belt. If only my web guy was a little faster...
96blkform: Sadly, no. The guy that did my cage turned 3 weeks into almost 3 months, so I missed the whole summer. I will have it out in the next couple of weeks. I will send you a PM, maybe you can hook up with us when I get my friends together for a drive around town?
CamaroRacing12: The car is totally stock with regard to the chassis (cruise, air bags, power windows, bumpers, and A/C). I only added a 10 point roll bar. I had the car weighed after the cage, and it was 3,475 before the windshield (factory glass), and the carpet and door trims. I just got the car back last week, and I have not had time to get the panels fit and the carpet cut. However, I don't think that the door panels and carpet can be more than 40 LBS. I ran the car at Mi 13 last weekend and ended up with a 10.9 @ 128.4. That is up .5 mph over the previous best when the car was 100 LBS lighter. I guess the cage helps put more power to the ground instead of twisting the chassis. I have to get the rest of the car sorted out a little better so I can get an E.T. closer in line with my trap speed.
