god i'd love to get gas mileage like that, but then at the same time i love not having to worry about missing a gear in a race.

I would say just a few MPG most.
When I did the 3.73s I could barely tell the diff. over 3.42s, yes it was alittle more snappy but not what i wanted and I was never satisfied. I know better this time around.
A4 is a diffrent story 4.10s will suck gas pretty good.

the last time i went on a long trip i managed to pull off 29.5 mpg(432miles traveled to 1 tank) with the 3.42 gear. since that time i added Lt's,true duals,cai,tune,plugs,wires,4.10s so i would guess using 6th gear more often i most likely lost 1.5mpg WELL WORTH THE SACRIFICE!!!!
i love video w/audio get to hear THEM DUALS from the outside

added a vented opti and dowel pin
new timing chain
autozone clutch (LOL lifetime warranty)
madtuner cheap tune(100.00)
3.73s
nitto DRs 245/50/16

How are 4.10's when it comes to normal, every day driving, and how much does a new rear end cost?

To be honest,my silver car is my every day driver. The 4.10s make the car way more efficient, when you leave from a stop light the car is gone compared to the 3.42s.......I run on c6 285/35/19s and of course they tame the gear down a bit. My next track visit will be on stock size 245/50/16 DRs.
Generally you will spend 180.00 on the gear and 200.00-300.00 for the instal,so when you begin to look at the dollar to performance aspect it is the same as adding Longtubes and Y-pipe. you will not regret this mod!!!!

I lost almost nothing by going to 4.10s w/ my m6 and I don't drive her easy.

look up a DA calculator...usually altitute, dew point, barometric pressure, and temp are taken into effect. Your gonna have to find a weather site that will give you that info

From everything Ive heard 4.10s make for a better DD. over the 3.42s. Clutch chatter is almost eliminated also.

100% correct
when i leave a stoplight the car actually lunges foward now. it's almost like re-learning how to take off normal again.....
