US exotics warbird hood. This is the last one he built for the LT1. It wasn't cheap to get the thing smoothed out perfect, but for an aftermarket hood it looks great. I don't have the exact weight, but its got to weight at most 1/3 the weight of the stocker.

i have a harwood 6" cowl bolt-on on the IROC,

i know it is a different generation, but the fit was perfect, and it had a very nice gelcoat on it.

i give one vote to harwood for quality.

I have 4' harwood cowl. Have had raceweight at 3195 before, but thats without me in it so add another 195. No spare, jack, all seats but driver gone, no front sway bar, 1/4 tank of gas, + bmr sub frames. optioned out 95. t's, leather, etc. No bose **** tho, yanked that a long time ago.

not aftermarket exactly, but not stock on my car..no clue on the weight but it can't be more than 35lbs or so... its pretty light. a hell of a lot lighter than the regular T/A hood. Its bolt on and i snagged it off ebay last january for $307.51. It was a test run hood for the company that made the hoods for GM (there were 25 or so) and had a defect which was a small hole on the drivers side in the little dip. the body shop fixed it before they painted it, but you can still faintly see where it is. but that's the difference between a $300 hood and a $1200 hood so it was worth it, lol. you might be able to get lucky and find an oem SS hood for around the same price

OEM WS6 hood

The hood isn't line up with the body lines because it is a pin on and has not been fit yet... That was laying on there just for photos.

$75... About 5lbs, I can see daylight through it...

And it fits surprisingly well, only problem is the passenger rear where is bolts to the hinge... about 1/4" off height wise...
