Where did you guys get your EGR block off plates?
I went to advanced auto parts and asked if they had any, they didn't have any. Then after that they tried convincing me that they will actually hurt performance because the air goes in and cools. The guy is pretty knowledgable but I have never heard anyone say this before and nobody would do it unless it was useless. It kinda pissed me off but it was three guys against me in the argument so I just nodded and left..
BTW I still need the block plates and don't know where to get them from (I'd rather not get them from online, summit, jegs, etc.) So wondered where you guys got yours from?

R&D Speed's ebay store.
I don't know who would carry any in a brick and mortar location unless it was a specific speed shop.

um....Yes Exhaust gas recirculation help cool combustion temps and helps with passing emissions. But since we dont have them here i took mine off. no plate needed the rectangular hole where the egr goes is the only hole you have to worry about i just filled it with black silicone. no plate needed pulled out the studs etc

I got mine from SJM Manufacturing, but their site appears to be down.

i "made" mine. I used a freeze plug that i got at a machine shop for like 50 cents, pressed it into the hole that the tube went through and added a little jb weld to secure it in place.

Damn, I'm in Charleston way down in central illinois. Thanks for the offer though! I'll probably end up just fabbing up my own out of the exhaust manifold heat shields..
