Troubles with sixty foot

Troubles with sixty foot The car is finnally putting down some good hp this year 468 rw NA through a
Th400 trans. The car was cutting high 1.6 sixty with 3.73 gears and the stall was about a 3600 and was running 11.4s at 118 to 119 Now the car has 4.10's and a 4500 stall and is only cutting bottom 1.6's it did cut one 1.597 sixty. It went a little faster ran 11.20's at the same mph 119 in better air though. Whats it going to take to cut some bottom 1.5's to high 1.4's I plan on spraying the car so I can't go much bigger on the converter.
Does something seem wrong here just looking for some suggestions.
I see a lot of cars here with less hp and tq and less converter cutting better sixties.

Changed the gears first didn't help then changed the converter.
The car leaves very lazy and does not spin.
This is a LT1 car 383 with Brodix track 1 heads 12.1 comp with a modified
LT4 intake kooks long tube headers.

Dave I'm sure the smaller tire would help on motor for sure but like you said I would run out of rpm on the jug.
Dave I'm considering doing a single plane could you pm me a little more about your combo.
Your car is hauling.
What do you have for rear shocks?
Start with tightenening up the fronts to 6 and loosen from there. One click per pass. Leave the EXACT same way every time.
What happens with mosts cars with the fronts set too loose is the car will "porpoise" or "bunnyhop" out of the hole. The front comes up so fast the momentum unloads the rear. Not enough tire pressure makes this worse.
You need to find that line in between spinning and working the rear tire.
Start with tightenening up the fronts to 6 and loosen from there. One click per pass. Leave the EXACT same way every time.
What happens with mosts cars with the fronts set too loose is the car will "porpoise" or "bunnyhop" out of the hole. The front comes up so fast the momentum unloads the rear. Not enough tire pressure makes this worse.
You need to find that line in between spinning and working the rear tire.
I can't say what your problem is but it should be able to cut a way better short time than that. I have gone 1.601 on stock WS6 suspension with no front sway bar multiple times on 17" DRs, 3.42 gears, and a Fuddle 3400 stall.

it's hard to get the best of both worlds
weather wise was not any better then your last outing either Jeff...we where 500-800 most of the day. I know this is not horrible weather, but just stating it wasn't any better or little if any then the last outing.
I know it killed you to see my car pull a 1.45 60ft on HP, but the 4L60E helps that + my converter flashes much higher then expected and may not work on spray for me as I mentioned.

Jeff did anyone get video from Saturday? it leaves like it has the brakes engaged.

Chris my son got some video shots, not the best but like you said it just does not hit the tires hard at all.
