If you like that, check out the new T-6060 that cars are using now (Vette for example, but probably a beefier one for the Z51). They handle 600ft/lbs. It's the successor to the T-56. G8 GXP and Camaro SS will get the 6060

jesus christ.

im guessing one of those wont bolt up to an LT1 though?

I would probably just sell and get myself the corvette if i went that route.

^^No, it won't bolt up to an LT1 directly, but I do believe that the Front Plate and Input Shaft can be swapped out on your LT1 to make it work.

It does have wider Gear Ratios, I want to see how that works with the Vette..cause the lighter more powerful cars do better with a close-ratio Transmission.

yeah - would be interesting. I've learned though through experience that swapping out big parts like that is more trouble then its worth. i'd rather just go ahead and get the car that is designed for it.

The dyno's I use are inertia only which is what you want to use to get power readings and numbers. The resistance type dyno (Eddy current) are very useful for simulating road conditions in getting the tune right more precise without having to drive on the road under various conditions.

Pulls on a inertia dyno are not going to be as severe as running on the street IMHO. If you break something on the dyno, rest assured it would have broken on the street just as easily.
