Short block is done and everything is going great! They are working on the valvetrain now. Note. They did have to do some clearencing on the guideplates. They also Pulled the oil pan and welded on the oil pick up so it doesnt fall off and instead of the cheap freeze plug for the water pump they welded it! All is looking Damn good!!!

Those pictures look familiar.

Good idea welding on the oil pump pickup. Mine had actually came off at some point (oil pressure drop under hard braking) and Larry set me up with a new pump and pickup while the motor was out.

sure they do..LE2's on a red LT1 F-body. I swear we just a similar swap recently.

UH ... what's that blocking your air passage behind the TB?
I was sure you had your manifold ported for a 58mm

B4 you ask BBK sent the wrong gasket with my TB, and Larry caught it and trimmed it down!!

I marked it, removed it and trimmed the gasket as needed. We also removed the pan and welded the stock pickup tube since we had the motor out.

I always thought it was a bad idea to zip tie spark plug wires together, something about sparks inducing a spark in the other wires, is that a myth? If so it would really help my wire management....

The factory wire looms puts them right next to each other anyways. If the spark was going to jump wires wouldnt they totally seperate them from the factory? Especially with the crappy factory wires . So Im pretty sure its a myth.
Now arching off the headers I can see if they got burned

Not so much arcing, but rather induction.
I don't see those wires picking up nearly enough power to bridge the spark plug gap.
IE; no issue IMHO

We have never seen issues by doing this.
