same thing on the subframe connectors. big globby booger wleds. I know what good welding looks like, and man, this is not even close!

I might be able to snap a few pics tomorrow. the wiring they did for the nitrous was awful too. you turn the key now, and the starter doesnt click......wires just start smoking!!!!!!!! its real real real bad.

so, opefully, they arent doing any welding/wiring on your car.......you may wanna chack over that kinda stuff before you pick your car up.
Hmm... I had them weld on some subframes for me and it looks perfect??? They even painted the ends where they had to grind off the powdercoating

Well so far everything is going perfect and as planned. Im not to worried. More worried about how much power its gonna put out!

Nice Mike!

Let me know if you still want to strip that paint off the intake and have me powder coat it so you know it will hold up

BTW i gotta come by your house and get that cover for this sled, it keeps getting powder all over it, its sitting on the dollies right by my powder booth lol.

I for one highly doubt the story about the welding and wiring posted by whoever the hell that is. Most likely that car was there to get all that crap FIXED by the guys who do it right every time..speed inc..

Drop by anytime to grab the cover!!!!! I didnt have time to strip it and get it to you b4 i had to bring it in. I did put a couple more coats on it though. If it does start coming off ill pop off the intake and get it to you asap!!
I am not worried at all about the qaulity work that they do!! I think that story seems very odd. Of course every shop has some issues but I highly doubt that any "hack jobs" come out of there.
If that guys N20 wires are smoking ill bet its a pinched wire somewhere. And it could be a totally fabbed y-pipe for a custom set up requiring a ton of welding.

with the 107 lsa are you concerned with a lack of vacuum? are or you going to be running a vacuum canister or will it not be necessary?

As far as I know it will not cause any issues.
The only pics I have so far a couple of the motor after it got pulled. Not to interesting.
BTW they pull the motor rather than doing it in the car. With a lift and the right tools it makes it 10x easier to work on.!

I noticed a small improvement using the cannister with a similar LSA cam.
The low LSA doesn't necessarily make it impossible to stop, but it's not the stock feeling either.
Certainly not enough to require switching to manual brakes or anything like that.
