Default First mod to virgin engine :D

Well I finally got my intake today. Got it for 39 shipped to the house of ebay. Its looks awesome! I can tell its breathing ALOT better. Need mod is full exhaust. I havent even done the TB coolant bypass.

What do you guys think? (yeah, I still got to clean the engine bay up and bolt the Lokar Dipstick tube up!)

by the looks of the coupler it looks as if you have reduced the intake diameter which would be a restriction

now I'm sure it flows more air then stock and for $39 you really can't say to many bad things about it

Yeah its seems like the quality is great. it could do w/o the hole with the rubber piece but if someone has nitrous its perfect and the air tube is to small for the hole. I just plugged them both.

as I said I'm sure it's makes more power then stock, but since your MAF it 3.5" and the induction is 3" it is a restriction IMO

+ again I will say you can't argue with the price

For the price you got a deal. Very colorful too.

The K&N, SLP, Moroso, and few others in the $200 price range are expensive, but good flow and design.

not bad for ~$40,

but look at how wide the elbows are on the K&N intakes the bulge is huge. leaves way more room for airflow. also it doesnt go down past the engine bay, so i dont know if it is actually pulling in colder air.

looks nice though.

Has anyone used the CRT elbow and air foil?

Is less filtration worth the 5 or so HP? Wouldn't want dirt and gunk getting all over the MAF or into the motor....
