Second time at track w/ Cadillac Cam!!!!
and its just a baby cam 212-219
Using the above technique, an 83 MPH trap (in the 1/8th) is what I produce with the dumps closed and that produces an ET of 8.3ish... (on street tires, wrapped around big 20" steel rims... and my cam is the Comp 466 with lift on the 218-224 and duration in the high .5s, which most guys have also referred to as a 'baby-cam') The MT ET Streets have however solved that problem and with all things considered she's plowing 8.0s now.
i rev the motor with my left foot on the brake to about 1100 maybe 1200, but i only go about 1/3 throttle until i pass the light tower, i've tried just mashing it and that was not pretty, sideways and like a 2.5 60' haha.
i think the 275's would really help too over the little 245's.
loading the suspension on a linked car will result in wheel hop or excessive wheel spin.
just something to try next time.
