I used to live in DFW. Raced at the Texas Motorplex in Ennis a lot and loved to go to HRP because yes, there was a 1 to 1.5mph and .1 to .3 of a difference (at least with my car) between the two. I believe Ennis is around 500' whereas HRP is a lovely 15ft.
thats also what i was wondering if the track i ran at was showing low trap speeds, cause my buddies bolt on 2000 SLP Firehawk trapped 105 with a M6 and 3.42's and all traction mods as well just on street tires.

I'm hoping to go run at another track here in phoenix, but ive heard their inspection is real tight and my battery isnt exactly held down completely as the back mounting thing broke off so its only tight on one side.

but as soon as i dyno or goto the track again i'll let everyone know! and thanks to everyone to reading and hearing me out!

i told you to go to checker and get that 15 dollar battery tie down then you could hit up firebird. I think its better than speedworld. I got a shitty time there cause my tranny mount was busted and my car was getting super hot. The track hooks a lot better and **** though.

You should call and talk with them over at Yank. I know it sounds high but there are several guys running them on their daily drivers and some have even considered going a little bigger after driving with them. You should check out Stealthformulas video with that stall.

My buddy has 3.73 and went from 2.73 or whatever they are and man the difference is incredible Please don't get 3.42's **** it goes 4.11's with a locker. and a 4000 stall.

on my DD? man you are a killer genius, i'd like to get above 15mpg thanks

and the only reason i would go with 3.42's is cause i can find a complete LS1 rear with a 99+ auburn Diff. that way i get larger brakes, gears, better diff, and still decent mileage on the highway.

the only and i mean only way i would go over 3.42's is if i bought a DD besides the TA, and in that case i guess i would just skip right over the 3.73's and goto 4.11's. but that all wont happen till i get a 12 bolt or 9" got me?

haha i wish i could go locker 4000rpm stall but i would be like 5.345 mpg's while just babying it man, punching it would yeild gallons/mile. as in multiple gallons to travel 1 mile.

so another update from last night!

13.385 @ 103.5

i think my biggest problem even now is getting out of the hole without totally blowing the tires off and going sideways haha

although i was able to run a little faster MPH wise but ET slower ran a 13.5 @ 104.5 doing the trick of leaving it in 3rd gear position until i hit second gear and then switching it to D.

will be getting those LCA's and TA hopefully soon, maybe that will help so i dont have to feather it out of the hole.

my 60' was still 2.2 and im heating the tires up like no other. i feathered it a few times and was able to pull a 2.1 but with Nitto 555R's 245 i thought i should be able to hook better, but maybe those traction mods will help.

well only one way to keep going and thats down! stall and tranny refresh should be soon as well!

thanks guys!

Maybe I missed it, but what air pressure are you running? When I had those tires I would use 16lbs. cold and a nice long burnout.
