has anyone built a set from DOM tubing?

a fabricator friend of mine built a set of 3-point tubular jobs for his '02 car. didn't know if anyone else has done something similar.

I have alston weld in subframe connectors.

they tuck very nicely, and have noticed a increase in cornering performance.

UMI tube bolt in style on mine. I noticed a nice difference in the way the car felt while driving. stiffened it up big time from stock. they seem to absorb more road noise when going over bumps but i got used to it. dont know if anyone else noticed that with there SFC's??

they fit perfect and were very easy to install. havnt had any trouble with the bolts loosening up either

Definitley are doing weld ins. Probably going to go with the tubular UMI 3 point connectors.

I run the SLP double diamonds, I have had both the BMR's and the SLP double diamonds and you can really tell a differance between two point and three point connections plus I run a driveshaft safety loop/tunnel brace and it makes a world of differance.

My 0.2 cents

A tunnel brace is located in the center under neath your car. Stock is a flimsy flat piece of steel easily bent. If you buy a tunnel mount tq arm it comes with this brace and that is what it mounts too. Look at ACHotrods post above with the picture. It is the one you see in the center of the picture.

I had the old Kenny brown DD subframes B4 they were nice. SLPs DD look the exact same. Didnt notice a big enough diff to buy them again though.
Oh I also took that POS off my car and put in a full length TA and a seperate Tunnel brace with DS Loop. I hated that tunnel mount TA. Sounded like it was doing more bad than good on the car. It did help performance wise but all the negitives outweighed the possitves

That's what my dad had on his car. No ground clearance problems at all.
