ground clearance was fine. I did have to cut down the passenger side in the front because it hit my old exhaust. Other than that they were really nice. But truely I couldnt feel and difference between those and 2 point SFCs
See My edited post above about the Tunnel mount TA. If your car is a street car or DD dont buy it!!!!!!!!! If its mostly a strip car then go for it!

I have a set of BMR boxed weld in ones. I bought them and an SLP lid in February of 07 to put on my Formula. They've been sitting in the corner of my garage ever since. I really need to get to installing them.

I have the boxed jegsters. They bolt in and/or can be welded, never had any problems with clearance or fit. I also have the jegster tunnel mount tq arm, both pieces are great quality and good price.

Let us know how you like them 3 points after you install them. I wish I had gone that route instead of the 2 points

I am ditching my tubular BMR's for umi 3pt's over the winter. I have a t top car and want it to be even stiffer. I already have a ds loop, and planing on a adj. TA to finish things up.

I would go with umi 3pts's all day. Much better design.

After running a set of tubed on a 95TA and a set of boxed on a 97Z, I would have to say for the stiffness factor I liked the tubed better, but for fitment purposes the boxed were a lot better. In either case any is better than none.
