Ok so i have this little problem which is holding me back on the rest of the motor tear down. I cannot for the life of me get the last 2 bolts on the crank balancer, i got 1 of the 3 off but the other are beyond tight. i have used plenty penetrating oil but those things will not budge then also trying to get the crank not to rotate. I just need some ideas on how i can get the balancer off.
any tips are appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

I've always just used am 18" breaker bar.Maybe you need something longer.
An air ratchet works well too .. lots of torque in a quick burst breaks em free.
The bolts will come off eventually, it's not like they're that long.
Be sure to soak down both the front and back of the bolt holes if you can get at them.
You may have to rotate the crank a little.

Its very easy to do if you have 2 people. I have someone hold the flexplate (I use a flexplate tool, you could maybe use a screw driver or something similar with some strength) and then the other person uses an air ratchet to take the bolts off. Works great for me and is pretty simple. The key is to have the flexplate stuck from rotating so that the bolts will actually come off.

If you have a second set of hands they can hold a wrench on the other bolt. Then once you break it loose tighten it back down and break the other one loose. Now they should come out without much drama, or have the other person hold that screwdriver in the flexplate. Agree on the impact, ever try to break flywheel bolts loose by hand? I was moving the motor off the crate and they didn't break loose, impact and I was done in a minute.

Impact usually works good. I also have a tool I made. Nothing special, just a piece of plate that mounts to the block in a bell hole and has a wedge to jam the fly/flex like the screwdriver trick.
If you have no other way, put the loose bolt back in and use two ratchets to fight each other and and get them all loose, if your lucky you should still be able to get the third back out, just did this the other night.

Use 2 wrenches on the tight bolts till you get one loose, then when its loose, take the 2 loose bolts out about 3 or 4 threads out then use a big screwdriver or prybar and wedge it between the 2 bolts to get the 3rd bolt loose.
