It will be determined by who is doing the work and not so much which casting we start out with. Entry level work on the nicest casting will be handily outperformed by high end work on a factory casting. Provided you're spending enough to buy quality/competent labor, then either can be made to work well.

It can be quite a bit of work to sort out a product. As soon as we have the final version of the head in hand we'll do up a couple different versions and update you guys. Whether it is june or july won't make much difference in the long run.

Glad you guys are still interested.

Will these 21* heads use regular 23* valvetrain parts?

Talking

Gentlemen,

TrickFlow has been hard at it working on getting this part just right before release. We'll hopefully have a more significant update next week.

Will you offer these with a custom cam set-up?

Ahhh, I know this will be a great performance stepping stone for LTX guys, kudos to TFS and AI for their info and help. I am definetly gonna give these guys business in the future. I am not waiting on a set of heads for my build like a lot of you guys but I am just as excited as you with all this forward progress for the LT-1 folks!

Naturally. For the best performance & longevity we'd prefer to provide a cam to go along with the heads in all cases.

Haven't been able to take time to post... but last week we received our first run of castings.

We have to check these against our pre-production head mock up, finalize masters & programming etc. and hope to have info/pricing on at least one 21deg offering this coming month. Hopefully we can get them on a couple test cars before the weather comes around.

Good, reliable, productive R&D takes more than a few days. I am sure we will hear about it when there is more to hear.

Doesn't it stand to reason dealers will get their's first? AI is a DEALER not just a retail customer like the rest of us.

It's a little different. JEGS and SUMMIT are distributers/dealers, but that does not mean whatever new thing comes out, it is forwarded straight to them. They have to order/reserve them just like the rest of us.They will get their batches soon enough.I'm sure Advanced Induction reserved these from TFS a while ago for further testing and whatnot, which is why they have them and JEGS/Summit does not. I don't know why you are being so impatient.

Go back to page 1 post 1 and post 34 AI had some preproduction stuff in hand in december, I think that puts them on the list ahead of basic retailers.
