lol, sorry if im being impatient, im just really curious to know where exactly they are at because my 355 needs a new set for my cam... i emailed TFS about a month, month and a half ago and they said theyd be shipping in two weeks, i even proposed they make an ltx specific intake manifold, but i dont think they went for it, lol

Considering the stock manifold flows plenty out of the box, anyone creating an aftermarket LTx manifold would be pretty much wasting their time. The "big dogs" that require custom sheetmetal manifolds and whatnot will probably go to Wilson Manifolds, which is tested and proven. In any case, there aren't enough of those "big dogs" to justify a company researching and developing an aftermarket ltx manifold. It would be cool though

I wouldn't mind seeing a little update either. Just to say we are here now, but we plan to try to get to here.

Very cool

My main build doesnt need heads anymore, but I have the last shortblock from the car awaiting a mild 355 rebuild and would love to step up from the ported stockers it has now .

Well yeah you can probably get them as cast right now. Actually if you plug that part number into their website, it still doesn't show them.

Hey all, I just placed an order for the set and my order status page has a link to the part directly. Try this short cut and see if it works for you.

No, problem bud. They should be here by Wednesday. I sure do hope they look like the pics that AI has posted. I will post a few shots once they arrive to compare as shipped assemblies.

Can you provide a before and after dyno of just the head change? Or is this more of a complete rebuild of the engine? Just wondering as I would like to see what the difference is in just these heads alone.

I couldn't tell you what the difference is. When I got the car it had a Jasper Reman that was putting out maybe 200hp tops (best guess). Took the top off for a Cam swap, head gasket and valve train update and saw that the cylinders and pistons were toast. That was a year and half ago. Now I have a 0.030 over 4-bolt with a cast eagle crank/rods and forged SRP pistons at 10.9:1 comp. Its got a comp cams XFI 280 cam, along with an all comp cams valve train, the new trick flow 21* heads, MSD opti, 30lb injectors and all new sensors and supporting parts. Once its all back together I'm planning to take it to a local shop for a dyno tune.

Im hoping to be a little better off than I was before the teardown. Got my fingers crossed.

Since these heads are 21 degree heads, will the standard LT1 headers and intake work with them?
