Hit and Run I know this probably belong here but I don't really use the rest of the site.
Some dirtbag hit the front of my Z28 this afternoon at Wallyworld. Minor damage was done, none strutual, removed about a baseball size of paint and missed the hood by a couple of inches. I've got to meet with head of security and the police on Monday to look at survalence tapes. Hopefully they can get a tag# so I can get my car repaired. I hope they arrest the SOB for hit n run. I hope they have insurance since I carry liability and I'm not sure if I have unisured motorist and if I do I'm not sure if it covers hit n runs.

that sucks dude it happened to me befor though outside of my gf's house only they dented the entire rear quarter panel bad and fucked up te gas nozzle. good luck i hope they catch that bastard!
Dumbass people. . I had someone back into my car once when I had my old 944. . They didn't know I was in the car and they just drove off like nothing happened. . luckily for me nothing was damaged. I hope everything works out for you and you find out who did it

I did park way out like I always do. I don't mind the walk, it usually gives me time to finish my cig. There were no cars around mine when I got there but there were when I was leaving. I had to buy groceries and a few x-mas gifts. You can't beat one-stop shopping.

I'm hoping they can go CSI with the vids. The Assistant Mgr said if they get a tag# they will press charges on my behalf since it happened on their property. I just it's not a beaner with no ins.
I got hit at Walmart once, even though it was a Hispanic guy he had insurance. I felt kinda bad cause I was freaking out in my car, and he had his two grandkids with him. I was patiently waiting for the car in front of me to go after pedestrians had cleared out, he went around me and when a car was coming that way now he tried to get back over, talk about short term memory loss, he merged into my car, the car he was trying to go around.

I am not saying that it is uncommon for Hispanic drivers to not have insurance, but stereotypes are rarely cool and I am sure many of our hispanic members, including me, (I am half Venezuelan) would not appreciate some of the things that are being said.

^^What I said, I said as a joke to try and lighten my mood and make the best of the situation at hand. If it makes you feel any better I'm 25% German, 25% Chinese, and 50% Filipino. Most of my buddies call me Taco since I look more hispanic than Asian. I'm far from being a racist. My bro-in-law is black and my 3 nieces are what we(family) call the black n tan girls. My wife is 50% Irish and 50% Italian, wanna talk about tempers. So that would make our daughter what we(family again) call, the mutt since she has 5 different races in her blood. If you think I'm bsing you I can email you a a couple of family pics.

YET, Another Story - My car was parked in front of a real estate office. I walked in to talk about the house I was buying, and met the guy that is installing the carpet (at the time). He was leaving as I was walking in. I go to the next room and hear my car alarm going off. I look and see that it looks like the carpet man bumped my car... he got out, looked at it, removed his trailer hitch, and drove off. I figured it must not be serious since he didn't come in and say something and I just let it go. half hour later when I leave, I go out and there's a nice 4" crack in the front plastic nose piece. Then it occurred to me why he removed the trailer hitch since it was obviously the part that struck my car (that bitch was trying to hide the evidence). Funny thing was, the guy was a block away installing the carpet in my house. I went over and confronted him about it and called the police to do the accident report. He wanted to take care of it on the side and I laughed. Not only did he get a ticket, and his insurance took care of my repairs but, the real estate lady for KBhomes reported him to his employer for the incident and got him busted that way too.
I feel no pitty or remorse for the guy no matter how much trouble he got in. Had he been honest and come in apologizing and approached me then about handling it on the side it would have been totally acceptable but, dishonest dirtbags like this deserve everything they get. Again, I hope you get your guy too.

hey Alright, I see how you meant it now. It is hard to tell humor on the computer; in person you can hear it in the way it is said, but that luxury is not available online unless a statement is followed by a "lol" or "jk." We are mutts too; my ancestors must've screwed a lot of different people. I don't even look hispanic, but I am. Any news on the car? Good job, Elliot and hyperzone.

My bad, i should've used a smilie or lol. Well it wasn't a Hit n Run or a shopping cart. Apparently I must've crossed somebody at sometime, I don't remember doing anything to **** someone off recently. The video shows a person walking into the camera angle right towards my car then it shows him/her running away back off camera angle. The video quality is crap! You can't tell what the person's race is or even the color of cloths. I was told that by the time the police could zoom in on face to identify the pic would be so bad it wouldn't hold up in court.
