I will check opti but how does it idle fine it would also misfire while idleing. the merv i know that i have to pull of the timing cover but should cyl # 1 be at TDC when the dots allign or #6 ?????

actually if the dots are aligned number 6 is on compression and 1 is on overlap. Both dots up number 6 on overlap and number 1 on compression. You had to take opti off to do the cam swap. It would lead me to believe you possibly have 2 wires crossed. I dont have a cap in front of me but i would definitely check that.

Ok just to make sure again the cam sprocket would be at 6 oclock positon and the crank would be at 12 oclock. right or both at 12 oclock wich was what u made it seem like.

If you do have to tear it down, make sure that the Dots line up at some point when the Crank Dot is at the 12:00 position when you turn it over to see.

Both can be at 12:00, or the Timing Sprocket Dot can be at 6:00, but the Crank one ALWAYS has to be in the full 12:00 position when trying to check the Dots.

HOLLY S$$t it was the opti i had 5 and 7 mixed up. As soon as i crossed them the car turned on in a heart beat and no missfire. Thanks alot guy how i overlooked the small things and you guys kept me from doing all the extra work. So again thanks to everyone who helped out
