Default Shipping a transmission?

What do people ship trannys in (t56 to be exact)? I was wondering what weight and shipping charges usually are.. any ideas?

find a pallet and stap it to it. I paid 350 to freight a t56 swap from georgia to western wisconsin last summer

So it is a freight charge for sure, right? I was hoping I could keep everything under 150lbs lol

not sure about the weight but the t56 swap is definetly heavy
