Default Catback reccomendations....

Mods in sig...I know its a subjective subject but I just wanna hear some opinions. Dont wanna break the bank, but wanna be able to hear the exhaust. I have a dynomax superturbo muffler here but Im thinking its going to be too mild for my tastes. I was thinking about the tsp rumbler. any others?

Borla has a nice loud tone, especially the CB that you can remove the plate. I went with a Hooker Aerochamber paired with a QTP Electric Cutout. Now I can have a loud car when I need it and a quiet car when the Fuzz is around

Gibson and Edelbrock are decently priced options.

Go with the Hooker. Its inexpensive, sounds great at WOT and Idle, and is one of the best flowing catbacks on the market......

+1 for Hooker. It really sounds great at WOT. Not annoying, but will definitely get you heard. Idle sounds awesome (I have ORY installed, not sure how it sounds w/ cats). Also, Hooker is aluminized, not stainless, so theoretically, it won't last as long as s/s catbacks.

Your best bet is to do a LOT of research before you jump in. LS1sounds.com has a ton of different setups, but if it's possible, listen to some IN PERSON so you can experience some first-hand.

I suggest Magnaflow. Great power increases and sounds amazing. Not too noisy in the car either.

Magnaflow is too quiet for me. I have a BB system with no headers on my Z06 and that sounds fantastic. I have Hooker Lt with ORY and a Magnaflow cb and it's just too quiet. I may try LM2.

I use to run the Borla adjustable catback exhaust. Best sounding catback for the LT1, IMO.
