I've been considering the A/C delete pulley a lot lately. I mean, you can get them dirt cheap off eBay, so why not? I just don't know how hard it would be to take the A/C components out of the car. It's not like I ever use it. If it's warm out, the t-tops are out and the windows are down.

I've got one in my 03 cobra. I love it my car put down 610rwhp on the bottle. You should be fine mine has 10,000 miles on it and they aren't easy miles either. Just be prepared for the petal. Its alittle stiff.

Just go to eBay motors and type in LT1 pulley, and it'll probably be the first one on the list. It's like $17.99+$9.99 shipping. I've been considering picking one up for a while now.
