LTX Tech is currently down and we are addressing the situation. Sorry we have to use ls1tech as a medium, but this is all we have right now. We're working on it though.

Only way to take a site down is to access through the admin functions. Why would someone hack that site? Who hosts the site? It may be the server is undergoing maintanance, although it usually doesn't take this long to do. I own a site, and the place where it is hosted will randomly, unannounced, decide to do maintanance and my site will be down for an hour or so.
