Default lt1 runs on ls1 computer using modded OPTI

got the car running on the ls1 computer today... i repinned the lt1 harness into the connectors and addded the in the coil wires and made a custom wheel for the opti.

i was worried at first as it would barely stay running then i pulgged in the other coil harness and it runs like a champ now..

dont mind the smoke there was some antifreeze on the downpipes.

yeah there is a cover.. just not on yet as i was trying it out.. i will pull it back off and put lock tight on the screws then i will put the opti cover back on.

it took me 1.5 hours to re pin the ls1 connectors into the lt1 harness.. my friend made the wheel on a 3 axis cnc using a dxf i provided.

Is it running off a single coil or 8 coils like that? I can't get an idea of what you really did.

8 coils nothing was purchased from efi connection, i designed the wheel before hearing of efi connection.. in total this cost me under 300$ with everythign including coils wheel harness ect...

the 300$ doesnt include buying efilive which is needed to assign injectors to the right bank and to tune it..

not selling a kit but i may be able to modify the opti if someone was intrested

if you could get all sorted out, u would be a fool to not market them.
i left the ltx platform long time ago due to the lack of tuning at the time.
i had to use a fmu for my turbo lt1 and adj.fpr for the bolt on stuff

I am very interested in this. Your setup seems like what most of us guys would be better able to afford to run a better computer for a street car as opposed to track only. GOOD JOB!
