Yeah the 3.23's are lame. I just found out i had them when i double checked for my madz28 tune. I want a 3.42 rear from a later fbody.

Yea the M28 and M29 is what was throwing me off. I tossed in a rear from a 99+ in mine though I don't use the E-Brake so I didn't get the right cables and I have yet to test out my idea for hooking up the ABS, but if neither of those concern you then it's a nice upgrade The Torsen posi feels nicer I think, but it could be due to being new, compared to the old 90+K and my 91's 140+K

It's not Monsoon though, as I have it too I also have the leather, with 6-way adjustable (only 4 electric). But unless you bought the car new off the lot, I'd question the rims. I mean I have them, but mine originally came with salad shooters

most people would suggest going bigger than that. maybe 3.73 or 4.10

I would go with 3.73's but the 1993 t56 was geared a little different, so my 6th gear is a little bigger and my first is a little smaller. It's also my daily driver, and is on a few 1400 mile roadtrips evry summmer, so i want the 80mph at 2000.

And if i get a 3.42 it'll be a drop from a later fbody so i dont have to dish out for a gear swap, i can just put it in.

From what i have found, it came with the wheels because its a trans am "gt". The fin is the big style and the wheels are stock. Iv also been told that it has the ws6 suspension because its a gt.

It doesn't have WS6, but you can tell if it deos on the RPO sticker in the glove box. I'm pretty sure that mine would have what WS6 came with too, comparing my suspension RPOs with that from my 91 which had WS6 due to the "Computer Selected" front and rear L/R coil springs. That may simply be an "All Firebirds" thing (or at least Form/TA). Now that I think about it though, I do vaguely recall someone mentioning the rims being an option.

I dident have to. I do my own alignment. I did it before i took it out and now that its in it drives straight and doesent pull so im good. I have heard that you have to but i dont see why, your not moving the tie rods or anything so it thoeretically be fine.
