gas pedal/throttle cable?
so i was working on my car last night, egr block off plates, ac delete, asp pulleys...then i took her out for a ride drove fine most of the time, but on the way home the gas pedal got REALLY hard to push down and even when i did push it down the rpms wouldnt go up and i wouldnt go any faster...it would only let me push it down a little bit and the rpms stayed around 1500...any ideas?

Check where the throttle cable meets the throttle body. Make sure nothing came loose and is keeping the throttle shaft from rotating. If it's fine pull off the throttle cable from the TB and see if you can push the pedal without the cable binding. It's all a matter of just looking under the hood.

You may have been leaning over your intake manifold trying to get at the egr and inadvertantly bent your throttle cable housing. Look at the cable housing around the back of the intake to see if it is damaged in any way. If it is, you will want to REPLACE IT ASAP> It won't be fun when you somehow get it to WOT and it sticks at WOT. We don't want to hear about you on the news.

theres some clicking when i move the cable with my hand by the throttle body coming out of that thing underneath that plastic cover that the throttle cable comes to (throttle valve?) also, i put the pedal all the way down and my dad checked the the throttle body for movement and he said it moved maybe a 1/4" if that, and one more thing, it seems like there is some play in the pedal like i can pull it towards me a few inches...any other ideas?

The play in the pedal is normal. Pull the throttle body elbow off and see if there is anything between the throttle body and the throttle body plades. Ive seen peices of rubber from the intake elbow break off and get lodged in between. Try some cable lubricant and then if that doesnt work replace the cable.
