I don't think ARH makes an LT1 header, do they? For my needs, Kooks was easily at the top of the list. They fit like a glove, and went it without any issues. I suspect they will outlast me.

What's the difference supposed to be with the "new" LPP's? I must've missed the mention of this??

As far as I know, they are going to re-design them to fix some fitment issues. Nothing major.

The ports in the flanges are oversized to provide more flow and no restrection.
The LT1 headers also feature a High Velocity Merge collector and merge spike.
The collectors and Y are 3".

A little info from their web on these ^^^
Me too.

Pacesetter mids. Cool headers for there price. I have to deal with emissions so i had to stick with the mid sized. Anything is better than stock.

I'm installing my headers today. What is the amount of torque for the bolts that go to the head?

Thats because we believe they took our headers and sent them to china and had them knocked off.So if you would like to buy foreign copied headers then go for it.But remember we have been in business for 45 years and we stand behind our product 110%. If you want to talk to us all you have to do is call. And we the manufacture will answer the phone, not some middle man with an import liscense who has no header designing experience. They also copied stainless works mustang header. Its people like this that ruin the industry for the American working people.

I've heard that the frame rail needs to be clearenced to get the LPP to fit correctly...That is a nice option!!!I guess they didn't copy them well enough.

I personally have Hookers and think they fit very well for an off the shelf header even if they only have a life span of 5 years when coated.

I wanna know how is going to step up and start making 2" headers for high HP cars

We can make a 1 7/8. thats the largest we can make because of the spark plug location. And even then it would require a bolt pattern change. And the frame rail problem was expected because in china they only use certain radius in there machines. Thats also why it take so long to do a change if they where made in the US carl could just make a fixture change and be done with it.

Perhaps if you had yours priced reasonably copies wouldn't be an issue cause people would just buy yours set at a reasonable price.

Hey George have you seen these headers in person? If you guys are hurting so bad because of people like LPP then maybe lower your price to start moving them. Until then these are the headers pretty much anyone and everyone will run. With todays economy and market spending 1000 plus dollars on your set up (which is a wonderful product) isn't gonna happen.

George, I believe what Elliot was trying to say is that, your prices are in fact reasonable (your products are none the less great quality), but the fact of the matter is that people are undoubtedly willing to buy other products (such as LPP - which match your products' quality to an extent) simply because they cost half as much, if that. Are your headers worth $1,000+? Yes. Are people willing to pay for them? Some, but evidently not enough, which affects business. I'm not taking sides here (because I've seen both LPPs and KOOKS first hand - and they are both great looking pieces), nor am I trying to convince you to lower your prices, I'm just saying that it's not fair for the small guys who are just trying to make a living as well, get bashed and whatnot because they are "ruining" the industry and/or your business. There will always be competition in any industry. You just have to cope with it and adjust accordingly.
