help please

ok so when i drive my car and i hit about 3k my car like hesitates the best way i can describe it feels like someone who cant drive stick its all jerky and what not. the car is a 96 t/a a4. my ses light is on i had it scanned and it say TPS but would that cause this? also it does not do this in park or neutral

Well, if the TPS is sending a bad part throttle signal, the correct fuel is not going in and can cause bucking.

Maybe a short in the TPS Signal Wire.

now that you said that the code is tp sensor circuit low voltage p0122. how can i test for a short?

Have to get a Test Light and a Battery, and check the Wire from the Connector to the PCM Connector.

i know how to use a test light but what do i do with the battery?

Connect one end of the Battery to one end of the Test Light, and then the other end of the Light on one side of the Wire, and the other end of the Battery on the other side of the Wire. If it lights, then the wire is good.

I use a little 9V Battery.
