Anyone hate know it alls
I've met plenty of "those" guys myself. Most of the time it's with people unfamiliar with the changes in the new Gen III and Gen IV engines from standard SBC's.
Best thing is is to have some fun with it.Tell him you car has the double over the head crams. Because it was built as a racecar it has: rearview mirror delete, no speedometer and no reverse gear installed from the factory. Wind the fool up and watch him spin.

I knew a lot of guys like that when i was in highschool. I showed them the 390fe in my Ford truck and told them it was a 300 six banger, they believed me and told me that I should have got a v8 so my truck would have more power.

I don't mention H22's, B16's or any of the other Honda alphabet to Honda guys because I really don't know what I'm talking about and don't want to come off as an ***. More people should be this way.
I've met people who told me that their brother bought a '67 Camaro new and it had a 350 automatic combo when I knew that it was a 327 Powerglide.
Also heard of the magical Chevy 350 Big Block, the 440 Mopar Hemi, and the Camaro SS that came from the factory with a 454 Big Block. Utter BS but the people have to cram their "knowledge" down your throat. I've won many pizzas in bets this way.
My best was betting that Ford had a Hemi Mustang. The Boss 429 proved me right and got another free pizza. Most people won't bet money so I take what I can get.
Prove your buddy wrong and tell him to stop putting his foot in his mouth or learn the subject before he speaks. You'll be helping him out.

This guy in my class is the same way.. he has some p.o.s 67 mustang convertible with a 289ci SBF and he told me it's really a 350 - he bored out a 289 to a 350... I was like, you know that's not possible right? He's like yeah it is.. oh, he also has a 750cfm 4 barrel double pumper carb on his 289 and he claims its just perfect.. thats big block territory lol. AND to top it all off, he has an x-box steering wheel as his steering wheel in his mustang - no joke. a kid in my class took a pic and is going to post it on here.. I wish these people didn't exhist..
either way thats hilarious and i wanna see it.
