They did have Ram air and a performance catback and were rated with more HP. But a nice running TA could win easy.

My favorites are the guys with the 3/4 race cam, camel toe heads , EL-D-BROCK intake, BROLA exhaust, MAC-lee-OAD clutch... Its so hard not to roll the eyes... you can actually pronounce the company 10 times and they will still keep it up...

Ok, here's what you do: Take your index finger, point it at the bridge of his nose (about 6 inches from it)...give him 2 seconds to put up a defense, then tack him right on the nose..not hard, but just enough for him to feel like a dumbass. Oh, and make sure other people see it.
I may not be the best role model though, a friend and I put a 1050 dominator atop a mid 70's Corvette engine that was tossed in his '84 camaro with very few mods. Took about 50 miles for that disaster to come to fruition. Looking back, I think it might've ran that engine a little rich...just an idea.

haha i dont know why you hate these kids soo much. i think there freakin halarious. they make me feel better about my knowledge. ....although i cant seem to spell halarious i do know quite abit about cars and when i hear someone talking bullshit i love it. back in high school auto class there were a kids who we called the talon tards. theyd go on and on about how the eagle talon was the best car ever and it can make 550 hp on stock internals with 36 psi i usually just rolled my eyes and asked them how many theyd blown up ....in think there in the double digits now....and why if there eagles were soo great how come they were always driving saturns and civics.

There was a cap on the size of engine that came in Camaros . The
biggest they could get from GM was a 396 If you wanted anything
bigger thats where Baldwin Motion , Yenko , or some other 3rd party
came into play

...and the L72 (427/425hp), which is how the '69 Yenko Camaros were ordered. So there were actually *2* 427s available from the factory in a '69 Camaro...
