Default Are this heads good
I am rebuilding my engine right now , this heads have an is=nscription on the side that says afr are they any good.

AFR = Air Flow Research. Do a search, if they are in fact AFR heads, they're just about the best heads you can buy.

I've heard their quality has gone downhill these last few years for some reason or another....? but thats just what I hear

You looking to bench race or actually have a car that performs, those are only good for one of those things and it is not performance.

A local guy threw in a baby cam with some 185cc AFR heads and put down over 400 @ the rear with a M6. It runs strong and performs real nice. So I would disagree with your comment about them performance wise. Or were you just saying that because of the 180cc?
