Everyone has put good ideas out there for little money, you just choose not to want to do any of them.... like blackz6sp said... get some seat time it's free

Trust me when I say my car cannot hit 12s as it sits, my 60' won't get better without more money.

My swaybar was already out... and still is on my garage floor.

It needs something else.

Like I already said, nitrous is not what I'm looking for.

It's gonna either be suspension or rockers/springs.

If you actually read what I wrote, you'd see that I'm looking for small cheap gains because doing what has been suggested to me IS OUT OF MY BUDGET that I clearly stated in the first post.

your mod list didnt say anyting about exhuast, so you might pick up 12ish rwhp. that might be all you need. or hell, just cut the muffler off, thats free!

Wtf!?

You can get used Nitrous kits for next to nothing and if your truly afraid of scattering your engine then only run a 75 shot on it and you there! Heck a 50 shot may even be enough to put you where you need to be.

And if you want to sell the Nitrous later and upgrade your system then you can sell your old kit and I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to get rid of.

yea, cut the muffler off, and make a pass without the air filter, and pull the belt off.....i predict 12.85. i have a buddy with a slp 345 hp ls1 car pick up .1 in the 1/8 from pullin the air filter out.... thats prolly .15 in the 1/4.... and its all FREE!!!!

I have LPPs--->open ORY
My catback is leaning against my garage wall. I'm all set with exhaust, minus true duals, which aren't in the cards for me.

I wouldn't say all of what people have been throwing out has been out of your budget. You just don't want to do most of them...EWP-MT's-Rockers-4.10's. All under or around $400 bucks

I don't want to throw money at it just to hit the goal and sell it. I want something that is worth keeping long term.

I plan on nitrous, but not right now.

Individually, yes they are BUT...

an EWP won't do it alone.
MTs I already have
Rockers need springs guideplates pushrods
4.10s alone will have me shifting into OD before the end of the track and SLOW me down, unless I buy taller MTs, which puts me over budget.

What's your m.p.h. on your best pass?

I've seen a 400 hp 389 tq ls1 pull the front wheels with a a4 on a 10 bolt rear end so have a little more faith in your 10 bolt. Keep in mind automatics are not as hard on a rear end as a six speed, unless you have a trans brake.

your 3rd gear is the same as everyone elses 1:1. meaning you will not go into od only running 12s.

HEY MAN i hate to be a ***** but everyone on here is giving you good ideas. 400 bucks will only go so far. you dont wanna do your heads. you dont want NOS. you dont wanna "BUILD" a 10 bolt then what do you have left? strip you interior? suspension? thats about it. it seems like you have your mind set on something but none the less good luck. the best i hit last year was a 13.01 wanna talk about just wanting to hit 12s and thats at 110 i just couldnt hook with crappy street tires lol. but GL anyways
