I just read through this thread...

Does anyone else just get the impression that this wickedformula dude is just a ******* low-life? I've bought/sold/traded an absolute shitload of cars, and a car just doesn't run because it sat in the cold. I just get this feeling that you fucked this kid over, but who knows.

I don't know how people do business in your neck of the woods, but in Columbus its a good way to get your head busted or having someone open your belly up and showing you all the black stuff you got in there.

I have a spare 93/94 (used) opti (base, cap and rotor) here you are welcome to try if you want to troubleshoot.
Opti swaps are not too painful.

Drain coolant
Remove one fan (or whole fan assembly if you prefer)
Remove waterpump
Remove hub and crank pulley
Disconnect plug wires and Remove Opti

Just be sure to line the driveshaft back up when you reinstall, it's easy to get in wrong on those cars.
If it slips in without effort, you have it right. If you had to push, you got it wrong.

Sounds like all your plug connectors have been off a few times. Try pulling each and every one off and bending the spring loaded pin back in towards the pin a bit for better contact. I started having problems after I put in a new opti. I ended up spreading the spring tabs out inside the connector enough with the multi meter that I would get an intermittent connection. This caused a no start, to die while it was driving, high idle, misfires and some others. Codes would pop and I would tighten up the connector. Been running great since. Easy, cheap and doesn't hurt to do on an old harness anyway. I sure learned something, because all the wires tested good, the sensors tested good, but their symptoms were still there and the computer would point a finger...drove me crazy until I figured it out and it was quite funny. Good luck!

hey not to bash anyone, but wickedformula, why does it say the opti has 1500 miles on it, then you say 3-4000 a few posts later?

??? it sounds like your job is racing

Planned racing is for the track. If someone pulls up to you randomly by all means giver the cupcakes but dont be planning street races. Not to be a dick but is it safe to assume you are under 20?

Either way, whats the latest on the car?
