93/94 are non-vented spline-driven optis
95-97 use the later vented pin-driven design.

Cap and rotor kits -> http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...115+4294855357

Whole Optis -> http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...115+4294881256

If you look at the Optispark II options they say
"This distributor replaces the Optispark II vented, pin drive style OEM distributor only."

Whereas, the Optispark I options say
"This distributor replaces the Optispark I non-vented, spline drive style OEM distributor only."

It's odd that they would list both as a part for a 94. Silly websites.....

Bah .. all easy fixes. Sorry to hear he had to sell it. I hope he didn't take a huge loss on the deal.

looks like he succumed to the fate that many lt1 owners do. he threw parts at it without properly diagnosing stuff, and when it still didnt run $500 later, he sold it.

sorry man

To bad he gave up on it. Since it had RR's I wonder if a few came loose being adjusted wrong. 2 way loose and one falling off would cause missing, backfireing, loss of power. But oh well its long gone now.

No he didn't throw random **** at it, he had a kid on the way needed something reliable. The original owner had an electric waterpump on it when he put the stock one back on he didn't tighten all the bolts on it so it all leaked on to the opti plus it froze the pump up somehow. The wires were bad, it wouldn't stay running more then 10mins
