I'm trying to remember his screen name but it's a 30th anniversary Z28 from colorado with a carb'd LT1 and a speedtech plate IIRC....

ran a 9.034 at bandimere..... which is probably like an 8.80 at sealevel....
His username is stroked30th. Fast car no doubt!

Yeah Rick's record ain't gonna be broke until Sikora gets his car running.... And AFAIK Rick's record is like 8.teens...
I have a video of him going 8.08 so it's that or faster

I didn't mean anything by it, I was just messing with you that you are calling our cars a disgrace (which I only PARTLY agree on) when you aren't doing anything to rectify the situation!

Haha I didn't mean that our cars were a disgrace. They are awesome. I just don't believe they are being built/run to their potential yet. Although it would be awesome to hold a record, I don't have the budget or the desire to go after something like that. My car is a pretty mild street car all for fun.

No wonder he got out of it. That would get expensive!

Until there are some REAL head choices out there, we're not getting much faster.

Power is all in the heads, and it's pathetic that ported stockers are some of the best heads we have at our disposal.

Now that 215cc raised runner heads are no longer you're kinda right..... You'll be lucky to get 23 degree anything to run sub 8.0...... much less with an LT1 block limited to about 409 cubic inches....

I think it CAN and will be done and most likely by Sikora..... I'm just not sure that the motor will live very long at those power and boost levels..... Find out what the FASTEST 23 degree headed car in the world is.... it's probably turbo and it's probably a high 7 second car.....

Only difference is that it's probably a world or dart block with aluminum rods and all the best internals to live more than a few passes....
