If you want the power all the time, I'd go with the cam.

Or go with a nitrous grind with lots of exhaust duration and enjoy both.

This should sway you away from nitrous. lol.
he could have prevented that for like $50.its just a pressure safety valve and a tube that blows the N20 out of the car

I say go for the cam, because it's always on tap, and it's more of a one time payment.

Forget about the n2o and start saving some money, Got a bunch of cool stuff already, now save some more.

This is NOT a convincing argument.

You guys keep saying this but in my first post I said that I want to be able to floor my car on the street without having to worry about excessive speeding. And I also said that money isn't an issue in this.

My brother's old L98 was a ton of fun, cause you could keep that thing floored for HOURS before hitting the triple digits.

Same thing with my GTP, when I raised the boost it wasn't as fun on the street.

I'm sorry, but isn't that the point?

If your brothers old L98 was tons of fun, buy one of those then. If you can't control your right foot, why not buy something slower?

Just doesn't make any sense to me...

I'm sorry, I thought we were talking about two HP, and therefore speed, improving modifications.

im sorry but thats plain funny i dont care who you are haha. and i actually have to agree slightly, if i punch it now i hit tripple digits pretty damn fast, just try punching it from a stop more often that way you have atleast around 13 seconds till you break into tripple digits!

and i would totally go with the cam first, get one with a small duration so as to not completely kill your gas mileage, but with a high lift so it lopes and rolls out when you really put your foot into it!

nitrous should be after the forged internals if you ask me just to be safe, because althought money isnt an issues, nitrous can self destruct your motor alot faster than a moderately sized cam.

^^Yes, he was at fault for that explosion...that guy was a f-ing retard and never should have had it to begin with. Read the story about that situation and you will see how big of a tool he is. He's lucky he didn't kill anyone.

you do understand a cam swap isn't gonna make your car a rockship right?

is this the fastest car you've ever driven?

lift =/= lope

many people spray high mileage lt1's you don't need forged internals to spray. all you need is to not detonate ALOT and you'll be alright

No, I've driven a couple LSx vettes, some Ls1s, an Ls6, my bike (which I can't even go WOT)

And yes, I know how fast a cam will make me. The laws around here are EXTREMELY strict about "racing."

You are street racing if they think you are wot basically, even if you are all alone.

If they convict you of that, your car will be destroyed, and you will go to jail, and lose your license for a WHILE when you get out.

So is it really worth it?

Plus, this is my DD.
