Default Comp custom grind

I found a extreme roller custom grind with these specs 218 int.,228ex. 503 lift int./510 ex.,but has 110 sep(270/278 adv.).The cam is a cross between a 502 and a503 cam,I like it except for the lobe sep.,what do you guys think, will hurt my over rev and be to rough of a idle for my dd driver?

If you need to pass emissions that probaly wont, just in case that may be a concern. Don't know all the specs of the cam but a 110lsa should be fine for DDing and should sound pretty decent too.

I'd run it, I don't see anything wrong with those specs.

You need to make sure the cam is LT1-specific. Typical SBC cams will not work.

'87-'97 roller cams have a step nose and the thing to watch for is the dowel pin. you would be good to go...
you can get a longer pin if needed.

Is that lift on a 1.5 or 1.6 as it seems pretty small?

Probably with 1.5 ratios rockers.
Just so you know, the lift on a CC503 is .502/.510.
