Looks like HP tuners or something similar.

I would do a lot of research before you tune anything yourself. Not saying that you shouldn't do it, just saying to do your homework.

Jet's tuner for OBD LT1s was developed by Tunercat. Unfortunate he had to sell it to such a company, but it is what he had to do as R&D on such a thing is not simple.

i have it and love it. easy to work with, awesome flexibility. you also NEED to get a datalogger with it (i have autotap). it is the best thing i have done to the car, after boltons.

I Tried to get it to work on my silverado. After numerous conversations with jet customer service, their tech department, and god knows who else, I decided that they had no clue on what they had. Aparently, I had the only old body style chevy that couldnt comunicate with the DST. I was told to buy certain brands of usb-serial converters because they didnt know which ones worked with their product. After jet stoped responding to my emails, I decided that I simply would never buy another jet product. I chocked up the $600+ in parts I bought as a learning experience. After that, i purchased EFI live, and couldnt be happier.

You might be able to get an emulator from craig at moates. Thats probably the only way you could do on the fly.

That's how the tuner for my truck does it. He is the only tuner who can make changes in real time, but it wasnt cheap.

autotap is $300 make sure to get the GM enhanced parameters.

there is NO on the fly tuning with the jet DST.

i had no problems with a $5 ebay serial to USB converter. you just have to follow the dircetions when installing software.
