Default help me choose some gaskets!

I will be starting my Hotcam kit install in a few weeks and I need to buy some gaskets. I used a search and see that I need the timing cover gasket set and intake manifold gasket set. I found both of them sold together on thunder racing.
Is this a good set?
Also, I was wondering if there is anything else anyone suggests replacing. Maybe valve stem seals?

never used that kit, bought all my gaskets for the cam swap at the local parts store, and you might as well do the seals, some people will say you dont need to if the mileage is low, but they are cheap and you are there. hope this helps

I think its a little cheaper (or alot) to go get the gasket sets at your local parts store. Do replace the valve seals. Good luck with that water pump seal. If you have never replaced the WP seal do yourself a favor and search through all the posts. Also make sure you drop the oil pan. I just got through doing my Hotcam swap.
Heres an untuned vid to get you pumped - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9XI76...e=channel_page
Good luck!

Local parts stores ended up being cheaper for me as well.
Manifold gasket set + Timing cover set and a pair of VC gaskets should pretty much cover it.
(make sure the timing set comes with Waterpump gaskets; if not, get those too)
Felpro makes good stuff.

If you pull the heads for some reason, you'll also need head and exhaust manifold gaskets.

Don't forget to get an updated tune. (mailorder at a minimum)
