His guarantee doesn't mean a thing.

IMO, 2.5k isn't bad, simply for the trouble you're going to go through diagnosing the problem. Even then you stand more to gain by just parting it out.

"do remember that I could pull the engine and sell the roller for 1500 and part the engine for at least 1k!"

I disagree!

What do you disagree?

There are rollers with much missing and twice as many miles for 1500$ on here.

Tell me i couldn't sell a completely assembled set of lt4 heads, Lt4 Intake, and HotCam for 1000$.....

Leaving the random, headers, exhaust, TRANNY, etc etc for a measly 500$.

No worries though, i have had many offers to part out...why part it when i know it can be easily fixed? I'm moving soon...have a 2008 mazda 3 and a 2008 zx10r to drive daily. I'm in a tight spot with $$ and will finance my next vehicle.

Thanks cody for the kind words.

I wouldn't count on that engine being any good. Its not likely the oil pump just died. Maybe if the pickup just fell off but thats about it for normal oil pump problems. Sounds like it has some bearing issues. JMO

Buy it!

You could easily part it out for more. I would check very closely to see if it indeed has LT4 heads on it though. A popular mod for LT1's is to tape up the stock manifold and whack it with some red paint. See if he'll let you pull a valve cover to be sure. Compare part numbers on the heads. If it doesn't have LT4 stuff on it offer him $1800

I would buy it as well

even if the motor is junk that top end is worth some decent change

Odd that it appears to be using the 93 fuel rails, unless he painted the crossover pipe red too, which is a really good idea as I can't see it heh

Anyways, that hood alone makes up for $350 ($500 really though), those seats are really nice and could sell for $500. The tires you could probably get $200 for, rear end if it's good $350-500 depending on miles etc. Trans $350, engine + harness + PCM $600 even with the oil pump. If you pull it and do the pump quick you might get $800 for that combo. That's a potential of $2000-2350. And there's still car left You have a rolling chasis still (provided you put new rears on if you sell the slicks) which can net $1K.

I have all paperwork on lt4 parts. The car is fast. If it was stock lt1 heads and intake it wouldn't be half this quick.

And after you put a oil pump and it runs like a rape ape, post back on this thread so some of these dudes can seeyhere really are trustworthy people on this damn website.

Yes, I never said the INTAKE was a 93, but the fuel rails look to not have the crossover. Which is why I added that maybe it's just painted then to camouflage it.
