I have had a set of these on my car for almost a year now and so far so good. The stainless helps :-) Worth the money for sure.

Mine went in good.
The Y-pipe wasn't the best fitting (had to man-handle the two pieces together). I had the Y welded together (at the Y joint) for a better sealed exhaust. It seems like the band clamps between the headers and Y are leaking slightly though (both sides). Anyone experience this? If so, what's the best way to seal them up?

For hose of you that bought these recently, I see the seller specifies no EGR. Do they still have the AIR fittings or are those gone too?

My y-pipe leaked a little on both sides as well. I just used some Ultra Copper high temp RTV around the joint and then torqued the band clamp tight. It seemed to do the job, I haven't noticed any leaks.

Alright thanks. I'll probably order these, just wanted to know if I should get block-off plates or not.

Hmm...So you took off the band clamp and put a bead around the slip-fitting then re-installed the clamp? That doesn't seem too difficult.

The other thing that may be causing me issues is that I had to notch the clamps (about 3/4" V) because they would have hit the O2 bungs. I wondered if that would affect the seal...

Yup, some say that the RTV will stink from burning on the hot exhaust, but I haven't noticed any smells and its been on since last summer. I am using large band clamps too and they are close to the O2 bung as well. I just butted the clamp as close to the bung as possible and tightened it down.

I have a spohn torque arm with a chassis mount. Will this give me problems with my Y-pipe.
I ordered to Kooks style ebay header last week. I cant wait to see these. I read they will need a little massaging in a few spots.

Was always curious how some of those eBay headers actually worked out. Thanks for posting it. Will influence my decision when I buy some.

I love mine for the money. Had em on for a few months and a thousand miles. Used felpro 1406 header gaskets instead of the ones that came with. Can't find any leaks but it sure sounds like it especially where the primaries meet at the collectors but this could just be normal, any way you may want to use piercy's header gaskets and def use band style clamps! I did also have a slight misalignment problem with the bolt holes on the flange on the driver's side, had to oblong the holes.

So are the Pacesetter knock-offs not available anymore? Because all I am seeing are the Kooks knock off design...

I've also been looking for these, and not sure if they are the same from other sellers. eworldsales1 was the seller of the ones this thread is about. I haven't seen them listing any lately.

Anyone know if these are still available from any seller on ebay??

I got mine from DNAMOTORING/Speeddaddy. They are either 2 3/4 or 2 7/8 inch. All the other sellers I found were 2 1/2 inch primaries. They are great knockoffs for the price.

They fit like any other header with the usual problems. Grinding the k member a bit, and grinding the steering knuckle some too. The headers fit very good, but the supplied Y pipe takes some customization for a perfect fit. After exact measurements they are 1 3/4 primaries. They seem to be LPP knockoffs.
The ground clearance is much better than I expected of them.

Those and all the others I have seen lately on ebay are the kooks/lpp knock off style. I'd really like to find some of the Pacesetter knock off ones like eworldsales1 was selling. They had less fittment issues according to this thread.

That being said...I do realize the ones you bought have some benefits such as the stepped primaries and merge collector, but I'd personally rather have the ones that fit easier.

Looks like you guys are right, they are not listed on their eBay store anymore. The only thing I see is just the stainless y-pipes. Wonder why they stopped making them?
