94 LT1 HP Numbers?
Hey man do my numbers seem bad for LT and Y-pipe 97 Z28?
Your numbers seem about right, but it looks like you don't have a converter. I use the Yank SS 3600. The converter alone knocked 5 tenths off my time, by far my best mod. Use a trans cooler. With the mods in my sig I was at 299/330 with 1.6's, adding the 1.7's put me 309/336.
No, no one has dyno numbers for that, or pacesetters compared to the most expensive LT's. But they'll all talk out of there *** and tell you you'll make a lot more power by spending more.
To the OP I wouldn't spend the money on switching to LT's or an EWP. Save for a cam and be happy.
I made 276 rwhp and 317 rwtq with CAI only and other mods tha don't affect HP but that was with a M6 so I say your pretty good with those #'s being that you have an A4.
You have some good numbers. Would have recommended LT's the first time around but do those other upgrades the other guys said.
I would recommend a Yank SS 3200 or Yank SS 3600 stall. If you don't care about gas mileage they really WAKE UP the performance of your car

Get yourself some
Lt headers
1.6rr's
Cold air intake
maybe a ewp and a tune then u should be close. But I think you already have a good group of parts and for the price of some longtubes and ewp you could buy a cam and easily hit 300hp

It's your choice. 50% of the people will say rebuild it first, the other 50% will say go for it. My original motor kicked the bucket at 153k miles, but it had a shitload of leaks.
Thank you tons man for some reason I was under the thinking that the less backpressure you have the torque. Something along the lines of cutout open equals my top end cut out closed less top end.
do every cheap mod you can to add a few hp. an airfoil and coolant bypass will net you between 10-20 hp. clean out your engine and intake system as well. seafoam your whole engine and clean your maf sensor. it made a huge difference for me.
If that is true, then why did I gain 5 rwhp by installing a 2.5" cutout on my bolt-on 1993 Ta, and 13 rwhp in the same car when it was cammed? Also, my 1994 TA picked up a consistent 1 tenth and 1 mph in the 1/4 with the same 2.5" cutout. In both cases the cutout was back in the I-pipe, well after the Y-pipe.

With that high of mileage, I personally would invest in my transmission, heads, and block first... I have 100k and am afraid to do a cam-only setup due to the fear of my tranny going down with my 3.73's and 3600 stall... (I also JUST fixed my rear-main seal leak
)
Its up to you man, I could just be way too overprotective of my baby

Yea that's quite far fetched. You're sounding like a K&N commercial lol You're more likely to get about 7rwhp with both.
