Default These numbers seem low? For this car?

My friend was looking at this CAMARO SS 1997

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevr...3A1308#history

bored and honed .30 over and it has ported heads along with comp cams 230/244 and .510/.540 and he only pulled 330/327. Just wondering for my friend's sake that to me THESE NUMBERS seem AWFUL LOW.

Thanks ,

Devin

Yes those numbers seem very low, especially for a M6, even if he does only have 1.5 rockers. It would depend on if the heads are in fact ported and who did the porting.

Something like a CC503 + ported heads + full bolt-on's should be like 370rwhp through a M6. Maybe he ran it on a real low reading dyno. Too bad there are no track times to compare.

330 seems a bit low, maybe the clutch is gone! The car looks nice other than the exhaust tips! Also that cam needs 1.6 rockers to get the lift up. Thats abit of duration for such low lift. That dyno graph is not doin the car any justice because it was only spun up to 6k. When really that cam should be spun up to 6500-6700.

Yea, I was thinking it might have been a Mustang Dyno, but it says Dynojet on the graph.

Even with out a tune, he should be making more than that. I mean that's only like 60hp over stock. That Cadillac Cam made 50hp over stock on an A4 w/o a tune and only a CAI and muffler for mods. So, either that cam is too radical for the computer to compensate enough for more power (assuming no tune) or the tune that was done to it, is absolutely horse **** heh

it was only revved to about 57xxrpm, I'm sure that cam with ported heads should pull til atleast 6400-6600rpm

also could be a crappy tuner, doesn't show A/F on the dyno graph which sucks
