My friends 00 Camaro SS SLP ran a 12.9 bone stock to the filter and 12.7 w/ DR's.. I don't doubt it.. Factory freaks!

Yeah, i love how everyone jumps when when they hear of a 12 second pass. It nothing to lie about. A 12 second pass is nothing compared to what my viper runs.

Bunch of guys got stock six speed LS1 cars to go 12s out of the box, not just Evan Smith. Tony's (Nineball) 99 Hugger orange six speed SS ran 12s stock. I knew a guy local who got a six speed LT1 Z28 to run a 13.1, cut out, cold air and drag radials, Sean Salazar ran the same in his 97 Z28. Back in the day when LT1s werent whored out, they seemed to run just a lot better.

yeah i asked 13.7 because my car before this was a 89 iroc 350 tpi with 3.27 gears shorties off road pipe hooker catback and it ran a 13.8 with a 1.9 60 foot at 99mph just seeing if my lt1 without headers will run faster i need drag radials though the old owner bought 205/55/r16 tires for it because he said there was a sale so right now from a stop it will spin through first and second. Also there might be alittle competetion my friend has 92 gt 5 speed with shorties off road h catback pullies cai and stock 2.73 wondering if i could take him out too.

back in 93 i did not see any 14 sec 4th gens in Houston sea level they were 13.9-13.8 raced many however there were just a few that ran 13.5 those were the freaks back then! if they ran any faster than that we knew mods of some kind were done, hands down!

11's better then none just spend it wisely like i do. and youll be set! ill be taking my car to the track in april for the first time! im scared shitless about busting my rear.. 156k hard miles. im afraid ill be taking a bus back 60 miles but a 13.7 should be possible, especially with an auto. (for constancy sake)
